HI! I'M SARA.

I am a aspiring Dietician and I am currently working on my undergrad at Chico State. I hold an AS in Food Science and have been working my way up the ladder. I have loved every aspect of health and nutrition since I was 19 years old. I have also grown very fond of eastern & alternative medicine. Over the past decade I have struggled with food sensitivities, specifically gluten and dairy as I have been navigating my way through the world of Naturopathic and Functional Medicine and Nutrition. I have learned so much and hope to inspire and help others with my knowledge.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family. I love being outside any chance I get, hiking, swimming in the lakes and camping. I love cooking, especially for others. I enjoy yoga, school, concerts, road trips and reading about nutrition.

I also have been making my own Kombucha for about 12 years. I nerd out on fermenting my own foods. I have my own small apothecary line that includes hand salves, infused oils, tinctures, bath soaks and lotions. My family and I have a small homestead in the Plumas National Forest, where we grow our own vegetables in the warmer months and we have spoiled chickens that I adore.
